World-renowned display technology innovator LG Display will unveil its new generation of Software-Defined Vehicles at CES 2024, the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, in Las Vegas in January 2024.

SDVs, also known as “smartphones on wheels,” are fully in line with the concept of “screenification” by increasing the number of in-vehicle displays in a vehicle as a result of improved driving capabilities and infotainment features.

“We will continue to strengthen our global leadership with our latest optimal automotive display solutions for the next generation of mobility,” said Byeong-koo Kim, Senior Vice President and Head of Auto Business Group at LG Display.

LG Display will showcase a variety of large-sized in-car displays that occupy the entire dashboard of a vehicle, utilizing various technologies such as P-OLED, Advanced Thin OLED (ATO), and LTPS LCD.
